The Modern simmons takes the original mini simmons design by Bob Simmons and ads some performance. The rails are similar to what you find in standard groveler - forgiving while maintaining responsivity. This is a big board - there’s no doubt about that - but the differentiator is that the amount of foam will not get in your way when you want to be a little bit more aggressive. The coolest thing about this board is the tail flip in the last six inches. You will have maximum paddle power and down-the-line-speed with the flat rocker, but the flipped tail adds a crazy amount of performance for this type of board.

Something we really wanted to do was have it click with your surfing from the moment you put it under your feet, which is why we kept the concave very simple. There is slight vee in the nose which prevents catching, but it is a slight single to double to flat out of the back. The Modern Simmons is a fun, different, and exciting alternative board for whenever you want to switch things up and have a good time.
